How to Access Additional Funds

There are two ways to access additional funds through Wayflyer, depending on your account. This article explains both and helps you understand which applies to you.

Always-On access

If you see an available balance and a Flex Limit on your financing dashboard, you have Always-On access. This means:

  • Your available balance is shown on your dashboard at all times

  • You can draw funds directly through the app, whenever you need them

  • As you remit what you've drawn, your balance replenishes automatically

  • Wayflyer regularly updates your limit based on your latest business data

  • You receive fortnightly emails showing your balance and recent activity

You don't need to submit a new application each time you need funds. As long as your accounts stay connected and your business is performing well, your funding is always there.

This is becoming the default Wayflyer funding experience, and we're expanding it to more customers over the coming months.

Who has Always-On access?

Always-On access is currently available in select geographies and for certain business types. If you're eligible, you're automatically enrolled. There's no separate sign-up, no activation step, and no fee.

If you're unsure whether you're eligible, speak with your account manager or contact our support team.

  • Staying Connected β€” why keeping your bank and e-commerce accounts connected matters, what happens if they disconnect, and how Wayflyer works with you if anything changes.

  • Tailoring Your Funds β€” how to configure your drawdown, choose your remittance preferences, and understand pricing.

Manual application

If you don't see an available balance on your dashboard, you can access additional funding by applying each time you need it.

When am I eligible for additional funding?

You can typically apply for additional funding once you've met these criteria:

  • You've remitted 50% of your open balance with Wayflyer (some customers may be eligible earlier, especially if you're seeing increased revenue and growth since your previous round of funding)

  • Your account is in good standing with no outstanding issues

How to apply

  1. Log into your account

  2. Navigate to the Advances tab

  3. Click "Apply Now" (if you don't see this option, reach out to your account manager or [email protected])

  4. Confirm your accounts are connected

  5. Submit your application

What happens after I apply?

  1. Your account is automatically reviewed to check that all required business data is available. If anything is missing, you'll receive an email asking you to provide it.

  2. Your application is reviewed by our underwriting team. If they need additional information, you'll receive an email outlining the request, and it will also appear in your account.

  3. If approved, you'll receive personalized funding offers in your account. If declined, you'll receive an email explaining why and what's needed for future approval.

  4. You can customize, review, and accept your preferred offer.

  5. Sign the updated agreement, then receive your funds within 1-3 business days.

The offer amounts and terms you receive are the same regardless of whether you have Always-On access or not.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know which experience I have?

Check your financing dashboard. If you see an available balance and a Flex Limit, you have Always-On access. If not, you're on the manual application experience.

Is there a fee for Always-On access?

No. There's no fee for having a Flex Limit or an available balance. Fees only apply when you make a drawdown, and they're shown clearly before you confirm.

Can I move from manual application to Always-On?

We're actively expanding Always-On access to more customers. If you become eligible, you'll be enrolled automatically and receive an introductory email. You don't need to do anything.

Will I get better terms on additional funding?

Many returning customers see improved terms (lower fees, higher amounts, or better repayment options) based on their successful repayment history and business growth. However, terms are always based on your current financial performance and risk profile.

How will a new advance work with my existing one?

Your new advance can be handled in two ways:

  • Blended: combined with your existing balance into a single repayment with one remittance rate (the rate from your newest offer). This option is not available for direct loans.

  • Stacked: kept completely separate, with its own remittance rate and payment schedule. Loans, as opposed to MCAs, will always be stacked.

You'll see which repayment option applies on your advance information screen. If you have questions, reach out to your account owner or Wayflyer support.

Why don't I see the "Apply Now" button?

The button appears when we determine you're likely eligible for additional funding based on several factors, including:

  • Your repayment progress (typically 60%+ repaid via cleared payments, not pending or processing payments)

  • Your account health status

  • Your current risk assessment

If you don't see it but believe you should be eligible, contact support and we'll review your account.

How can I keep my account healthy for additional funding?

To make sure you're notified as soon as you're eligible:

  • Keep all platform connections active (check the Connections tab regularly)

  • Complete any outstanding tasks in your account

  • Maintain good repayment performance on your current advance

  • Update your business information if anything changes

Can larger businesses get Always-On access?

Currently, Always-On self-serve access is available to smaller e-commerce businesses. If your business is larger, you can still access funding through the dashboard or your account manager.

Who should I contact?
