How do I connect my Shopify store?

The Wayflyer app on the Shopify app store is not publicly listed, so you’ll need to navigate to it from the Wayflyer app by logging in. Once you’ve installed the Wayflyer app with your Shopify account, it will be made visible to you on your Shopify app store.

How to connect a single Shopify store

When you only have a single Shopify store from a single Shopify account, please follow these steps.

Please make sure you’ve logged in to Wayflyer before completing these steps.

Step 1 - Open Shopify App store

Click on the button in the Wayflyer app to navigate to the Shopify App store as shown in Fig 1.

Step 2 - Install the Wayflyer app on Shopify

When you see the Wayflyer app, install it by clicking the button on the screen. You’ll be prompted to login to Shopify if you haven’t done so already.

Step 3 - Connect your store

Once you have installed the Wayflyer app on your Shopify store, you’ll be redirected back to us to view your connection.

Note: If you’ve already logged into your Shopify store, you won’t be able to search for the Wayflyer app unless you have already installed it. To do this, please follow step 1 and click ‘Install’ (as shown in fig. 3) when you see Wayflyer on the Shopify app listing screen.

How to connect multiple stores from a single Shopify account

When you have multiple Shopify stores from a single Shopify account, please follow these steps. If you have already logged in to your Shopify store prior to this, you may need to switch between stores by following the instructions below.

Please make sure you’ve logged in to Wayflyer before completing these steps.

Step 1 - Open Shopify App store

Click on the button in the Wayflyer app to navigate to the Shopify App store as shown in Fig 1.

Step 2 - Install the Wayflyer app on Shopify

When you see the Wayflyer app, install it by clicking the button on the screen. You’ll be prompted to login to Shopify if you haven’t done so already.

Step 3 - Select a store you want to connect

You’ll be shown a modal with all your stores listed with this account. Select the store you want to connect.

Step 4 - Connect your store

Click ‘Open’, and you’ll be redirected back to us to view your connection.

Note: If you have already logged in, and selected a store to connect. You won’t see the modal shown in Fig. 4. Instead, click ‘Install’ when you see the Wayflyer App store on Shopify. This will take you to another screen to show what the app will need access to. Once you select ‘Install’ (shown on fig. 5), you’ll be redirected back to Wayflyer.

Switching between multiple stores

If you’ve connected one store, and wish to connect another from your single Shopify account, you’ll need to switch between your stores to connect.

Please make sure you’ve logged in to Wayflyer before completing these steps.

Step 1 - Open Shopify App store

Click on the button in the Wayflyer app to navigate to the Shopify App store as shown in Fig 1.

Step 2 - Click your profile badge or avatar

Navigate to the top right of the screen where you will see your account badge or avatar (see Fig 6).

Step 3 - Click ‘Switch stores’

When you click ‘switch stores’, you’ll be shown the modal (on Fig. 4) where you can select another store.

Step 4 - Select a store you want to connect

Select the store you want to switch to and finally click ‘Open’. You’ll be redirected back to us to see your newest store connection.

How to connect multiple Shopify stores with multiple accounts

When you have multiple Shopify stores from multiple Shopify accounts, you’ll need to log out and log in to each account you want to connect to Wayflyer. Please make sure you’ve logged in to Wayflyer before completing these steps.

There are a couple of ways you can log out and log into another Shopify account.

If you know your store URL

Step 1 - Open Shopify App store

Click on the button in the Wayflyer app to navigate to the Shopify App store as shown in Fig 1.

Step 2 - Click your profile badge or avatar

Navigate to the top right of the screen where you will see your account badge or avatar.

Step 3 - Click ‘Switch stores’

When you click ‘switch stores’, you’ll be shown the modal (on Fig. 4).

Step 4 - Click ‘Log in with URL’

Next to ‘Don’t see your store?’ Click “Log in with URL”, you’ll be shown Fig. 7.

Step 5 - Enter your store URL

Enter your store URL and click the ‘Log in’ button.

Step 6 - Select your store

Select your store, or be redirected to us automatically once your store is connected.

Note: If you are logging into another account which has multiple stores, you’ll need to select the store you want to connect with Wayflyer first, before clicking ‘Open’. However, if you’re logging into another single-store account, you should be redirected back to us automatically.

Log out using your profile avatar

Step 1 - Open Shopify App store

Click on the button in the Wayflyer app to navigate to the Shopify App store as shown in Fig 1.

Step 2 - Click your profile badge or avatar

Navigate to the top right of the screen where you will see your account badge or avatar.

Step 3 - Click log out

You’ll remain on this screen, but this time you can see ‘log in to install’ again. Click this button.

Step 4 - Log in with another account

Follow the steps to log in to another Shopify account.

Step 5 - Select store and connect store

If you’re logging into a single store, you’ll be redirected back to us to view your connection. If you’re logging into multiple stores, please see steps on Switching between multiple stores.

Step 1 - Open Shopify App store

Click on the button in the Wayflyer app to navigate to the Shopify App store as shown in Fig 1.

Step 2 - Click your profile badge or avatar

Navigate to the top right of the screen where you will see your account badge or avatar.

Step 3 - Click ‘Switch account’

This will prompt the ‘Your stores’ modal, where you can proceed to step 4.

Step 4 - Click ‘Log out’

You’ll remain on this screen, but this time you can see ‘log in to install’ again.
