In order to ensure your accounts security for the Wayflyer banking platform we will utilize Multi Factor Authentication or MFA for all accounts. MFA will be required when logging in and with key actions taken inside of an account. The purpose of this authentication is to ensure the security of your account and money, and to ensure all actions taken in your account are intentional and taken only by approved members of your organization.
What types of MFA does Wayflyer allow?
When setting up MFA for your account you will be able to choose SMS MFA verification, or set it up through Google authenticator, or similar authentication app. If you do utilize a MFA app be sure to remember what app is used so you will be able to access your account in the future.
Can I use multiple types of MFA for my account?
You will be able to set up access via SMS as well as through a MFA app.
I need to reset my MFA to access my account, how should I do that?
If you are able to access your Wayflyer account still you will be able to access your own forms of MFA in your user settings.
Click on your company name in the top left corner of your Wayflyer screen
Select settings:
Navigate to the User tab
Verify your MFA
You are not able to remove, and reapply MFA methods for your account:
If you do not still have access to your previous mode of MFA you will need to reach out to our support team at [email protected]. We will need to verify your identity, and confirm lack of access to your previous MFA method before we are able to reset your previous MFA method.
Can I opt out of MFA for my account?
No, at this time we do not allow for a customer with a bank account with Wayflyer to opt out of MFA.
